My first blog posting

Welcome to my first posting on my very own weblog....how exciting! I have slowly been finding out that one by one, my friends all are jumping on this weblog bandwagon...and realizing that i am slowly becoming the last person on earth to have her own blog. i thought i'd give it a try! I have to credit my cousin Sarah for this...after reading her blog it really is inspiring! I doubt my postings will be as interesting & fun to read as hers, but it's all good...i am hoping that this will be less about my trying to entertain someone and more about my doing a better job of keeping a journal. I'm much better about typing than I am about writing in one of those 'old school' journals, so maybe this will be the turning point. :)

I was also thinking, maybe this would be helpful in keeping people posted on what's going in my life, should they be remotely interested....whenever anyone asks me what's new the only answer i have is "oh you know, busy as ever!", never anything interesting...or at least, that i would think they'd be interested in. So....here goes!
