Ok, so i'm making good on my last post...a week later than i wanted to, but whatever. :)
So. Today's tuesday...Yesterday I DID work out. I ran on the treadmill at the fitness center to warm up, and then did my weights routine. And then did about eleventy million crunches. (side note: Whenever I do crunches (not often) I am reminded of this blog post...not that it has ever happened to me, it's just REALLY funny. You should read it if you want a good laugh...anyways...) :)
I felt pretty good after that, like i was off to a good start.
Today I didnt work out in the gym at work b/c i had to leave early to work at the HL tonite. So, i did my cardio in the fitness room downstairs this evening, starting off with 20 min on the bike. Have you ever seen the movie Bridget Jones' Diary? There's a scene in there where she resolves to get in shape, and so she goes to the gym and gets on a stationary bike. When she's done, she gets off & falls flat on her face b/c she didnt realize her legs would stop working afterwards...That was me. Except I managed to catch myself just shy of the faceplant. Why dont they put warning labels on those bikes? "Warning--Usage of this bike converts muscle tissue & bone to jelly. Do not attempt to use your legs on risk of serious injury to yourself or others."
Anywho...after i recovered from that experience i dragged myself onto the dreaded treadmill & ran for about 20-ish minutes. Actually, i ran for 23:15. No kidding...i couldnt talk myself into finishing the 25 minutes i had planned...the jelly-legs experience just took it all out of me.
